Adventure and Life in the Arctic

Moving to the Arctic Tundra on the edge of the convergence of the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas was one of the biggest risks I have ever taken. Completely unknown and unprepared, I moved to the tundra without having ever been there before. I brought along with me, my young son, geriatric pit bull, outside cat and arborist boyfriend. This is the story of how I got here and of my adventures on the Tundra and in Alaska.

  1. Your pictures are breathtaking.

  2. I always dreamed to experience Snow. hehe. I am from the Philippines by the way. Hope to see more of your pictures!

    • I was so surprised to find out how diverse this community is, we have a large Filipino population here, I would almost venture to say that it is probably the third largest ethnic group here! My co-worker just returned from a trip back home to the Philippines and brought back some of the most beautiful goodies for me, I hope to be able to travel there one day.

  3. HI Lovely, I’ve had the privilege of being nominated for the Liebster award, and in turn I get to nominate a set of blogs – so I’ve decided to nominate you! Click the link to find out what you have to do!

  4. Wow! This sounds like such an amazing adventure. I hate being cold so I will enjoy following your blog and pretending I’m there!!

  5. Hi! So you nominated me for the Liebster award back in April…I know, I’m a little late…but I just went to the link you provided to answer your questions and post my own and the link goes to a page that doesn’t exist anymore! Is it somewhere else? Or did I miss it entirely?
